What they say :

  • Composer John Debney: “Having started my career with Hocus Pocus 1what a beautiful bookend just finished Hocus Pocus 2. Re-exploring the wondrous world of our beloved witches has been an absolute joy. Working with incredibly talented director Anne Fletcher, we strived to both capture the magic of the first film while giving the new one its own voice and a dark, fun attitude. I hope fans of the original film will love the new film creating a whole new generation of fans….and reuniting with the amazing Marc Shaiman has been an absolute joy as we once again explore the musical landscape of Hocus Pocus!!”
  • composer and lyricist Marc Shaiman: “It was great to be back with the Hocus Pocus gang. I have worked with my friends Bette, Sarah Jessica and Kathy since before time began and it is always a pleasure. And sharing musical duties with John Debney again is an honor. And taking on the responsibilities of music producer with Ryan Tedder makes me feel cooler than I could have ever imagined. I hope listeners enjoy hearing all of our work as much as we enjoyed creating it.
