Regina Spektor Announces Rescheduled 2023 Tour Dates, Releases “SugarMan” Video


Regina Spektor has announced the postponement of her North American tour dates.

Spektor previously canceled its scheduled 2022 dates due to a diagnosis of COVID-19. Now, her tour will take place in 2023 with the addition of two new dates in San Diego, California and Port Chester, New York. Spektor’s 2023 trek launches March 1 in Ithaca, New York.

The singer-songwriter has released his eighth studio album, Home, before and after, in June. “I think all of my records are consistent,” Spektor told American Songwriter. “But it’s not because the songs are alike. Each song is its own little world. … They’re all autobiographical in the sense that my real emotions and my real feelings are in them. Overflowing in them.

The singer-songwriter and pianist had his first commercial success with 2006’s start to hopewhich includes the singles “On the Radio”, “Better” and “Samson”, as well as “Fidelity”, which peaked at number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

Spektor’s fifth album, Far (2009), and sixth album, What we saw of cheap seats (2012), both debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 album chart. Spektor has performed at the White House as well as on Broadway, Saturday Night Live and has contributed to numerous projects spanning film, television and music, including Hamilton’s Mixtape.
