America is a big country, in fact, I would say the biggest in the world.
Because it offers opportunities for everyone. If you work really hard, first in school and then at work, and you don’t spend the money you earn frivolously, you have a very good chance of living a comfortable life financially. Obviously, the word “comfortable” is in the eye of the beholder. I define it as having a house to live, food on the table, and the ability to pay your bills.
Does America Have Flaws? Of course it does, isn’t it?
Did the American have any major flaws? Of course he did and slavery is the number one major flaw.
Has America Passed Slavery? Of course, it has it for everyone except the crooks who depend on it for a living.
I am going to give you two examples of people celebrating July 4th and you will tell me who is the person who embodies the true American spirit and what we want in this country and who does not and we do not want in this country because of the extreme hatred that lives in their hearts, souls and minds.
One is brought to us by NBC Sports Chicago. They interviewed former Major League Baseball player Ozzie Guillén last Sunday and he broke down in tears when talking about the day he became a U.S. citizen. Ozzie came to this country from Venezuela and played primarily for the Chicago White Sox from 1985 to 2000. He was then coach and manager of the White Sox, leading them to the World Series championship in 2005.
” It is special. People don’t know how difficult it is. How many people die … How many people want to be American. It is an honour for me”
When asked why he was so emotional, he replied:
“The opportunities, man… the opportunities opened the door for me. I’ve lived in this country for a long time… I opened the door” for him and his family “to be who they are”.
Listen to him in his own words:
“How many people want to be American”! According to the left not much.
Do you think a lot of people want to be American because we’re such a racist country that wants to keep people of color down?
Now compare that to a California Democratic congresswoman named Maxine Waters. On July 4, she tweeted the following:
This received a response from another Democratic congressman from Missouri named Cori Bush. She tweeted:
These hateful words against America and black people are not free and come from black people elected to Congress. This is what the Democratic Party is today. Wasn’t there a black president or did they denounce him as a black man and now classify him as white because his mother was? Do they believe Biden was not elected president because they don’t believe the vice president is black?
One is a language of love and appreciation, the other is a language of hate and division.
Are you telling me who embodies the real American?
It’s time for all real Americans to come together and say enough is enough and put aside these people with hate in their hearts, souls and minds. Only love and respect for all human beings will improve this great country.
